While the kids were napping today this little elf was sewing away; making a ball for her baby.

Booty Wipes
Cloth diapering means cloth wipes. Rather then buying some, I cut up our previously used flannel receiving blankets into 8"x8" squares & hemmed the edges. I ended up with about 10 dozen, which is enough to last between washes. I keep the wipes in a reusable wipes container & use a squirt bottle with solution when wippin' is a needed. The solution is water with a few drops of peppermint scented Dr. Bronner's soap.
Our hodge podge of wipes.
Since I used whatever thread I had on hand, most of the wipes have contrast stitching.
I sure got two super cute booties!

Belt for Baby
Emilio needed a belt for his baptism shorts.
I wasn't even try go shopping to look for a white belt for a 4-month old. I had a hard enough time searching for a pair of white shorts.
So i made one. It probably took me all of 10-minutes & cost less than $5. I think I see many more homemade kids belts in our future.
Here's Emilio at his baptism. You can't see the belt, but it was doing it's job; holding his pants up!
Apple T
Lucia really likes the Apple Tree finger play we do. So when i cam across this cute polka-a-dot apple patch I thought it would be perfect on a little T-shirt for her.
I started with a plain basic T.
An iron-on patch.
PRESTO!
A new apple shirt for my girl.
